Catering Assistants
Wage dependant on age and experience
Part-Time: 16-24 hours
Full-Time: 30-35 hours
Based at Nevis Centre
Varied working hours
Immediate start
We’re looking for friendly and customer-focused Catering Assistants to join our team at the Nevis Centre. You will be required to assist the Centre Manager and Catering Supervisor in overseeing the general running of the Cafe as well as working to provide catering for other departments within the facility.
The main duties include:
Supervising and serving in the Cafe
Preparation of catering packages
Assisting with Event preparation
Creating specials and themed packages
Maintaining a clean and welcoming environment
We’re looking for people with the following traits and skills:
Friendly and approachable
Good Customer Service Skills
Adept communicator and good listener
Well organised and efficient
Happy to use own initiative and develop ideas
Experience in a customer-based environment
Catering experience and food hygiene certificates preferable

Children’s Activities Assistants
Wage dependant on age and experience

Based at Nevis Centre

We’re looking for friendly and dynamic Children’s Activities Assistants to join our team at the Nevis Centre. You will be required to assist the Centre Manager and Children’s Activities Supervisor in overseeing the general running of the Soft Play as well as assisting with and organising all clubs, classes, camps and events attached to the department.
The main duties include:
Supervising and serving in the Soft Play
Assisting and organising Children’s Clubs, Activity Camps, Special Events and School and Nursery Visits
Assisting with Event preparation
Working with senior staff to plan activity calendars and camp schedules
Maintaining a clean and welcoming environment
We’re looking for people with the following traits and skills:
Friendly and approachable
Good Customer Service Skills
Adept communicator and good listener
Well organised and efficient
Happy to use own initiative and develop ideas
Experience in a customer-based environment
All staff working with in the Children’s Department will be required to attain a PVG for the Nevis Centre.
